IT Service Delivery Manager (Eastern Europe)

Remote IT management / Regional role / Deployment / Budapest

A new investor is coming to Budapest and establish its office. For their pioneer team we are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to manage IT services and oversee the work of IT Engineers who are based in various facilities in Eastern European region.

Your new role

The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible to deliver best in class IT support and services for the business stakeholders in the Eastern Europe region. As the manager of a group of IT Support Engineers and Specialists, the role is responsible for leading and driving global IT standards while delivering end user focused projects including refresh, application deployment and break/fix tasks across 10 plants in Eastern Europe region.

Your main tasks are the followings:

  • Oversee Upgrades and Installations to streamline the upgrade process, monitor the system to ensure that it remains stable and usable, and maintain data security through the migration process
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, networks, operating systems, telephones, software applications
  • Manage servers, and network hardware equipment on plants
  • Manage telecommunications infrastructure vendor and development plans, projects, policies and procedures
  • Oversee systems enhancements and the integration of new systems with existing systems

What would you bring to the newly established team?

  • Experience managing a large and remote IT Desktop Support team
  • Experience with PC lifecycle management in a country to regional IT project management in some of the Eastern European countries (RU, UA, PL, HU, CZ, RO)
  • Experience within the IT field with progressive leadership responsibilities
  • Manage 3rd party IT service providers for the IT operations portfolio, working with outsourcing partners, external partners, consultants and vendors
  • A results-driven manager that is well-rounded in their knowledge of IT service delivery models (ITIL certification preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one of Eastern European languages
  • Hands on experience supporting Microsoft PC Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, coach and mentor team members to achieve results
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and report against set service improvement and transition targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business apprehension and orientation
